Golf is a man’s game…isn’t it?
My wife and I have been golfing partners for the past 10 years or so.
One of my friends doesn't understand why I would actually want to play golf with my wife! He likes to remind me that golf is a game to enjoy with your golf buddies, not your wife.
Now this guy is very happily married, for several years, but when it comes to couples golf, he just doesn’t get it.
Couples golf is very popular and is very enjoyable.

Yes I’m a golf equipment junkie. My wife rarely objects to my purchase addiction since she too is involved with the game. Of course she gets her share of the golf toys as well.

Ladies golf is very popular, particularly where I live (in a resort-like town). The beauty of golf is that it is a sport that you can play for virtually your entire life. Not many others that can make such a claim. I think it is wonderful that you can get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and spend some time with your wife!

My late wife only played golf with me when on vacation at resorts, but we both enjoyed it very much. In the 1950's, when I did some caddying at a private club, a member whispered to me that he and his wife had a spat of sorts and he was hoping a round of golf would help. I chatted with him and her separately while they were hitting extra balls. On the fourth hole he told me he had made up with his wife, and he was obviously very happy. The couple walked off the course in a very happy mood -- as I did with a huge tip. In my opinion, golf reflects life. Enjoyed this hub very much JBM.
