Golf is a very complicated sport. When playing it, it boils down to correctly taught techniques; sadly, not golfers these days simply ignore the traditional rules and complicate things.

An integral part of the game is the swing. To make a successful swing, you have to pace yourself and practice. Understand and internalize each elements of the game, including standing in the right position, and hitting the ball with mighty speed. Seeing golf pros doing their swings make it easier to watch; but in reality, it' not actually that simple. It takes a single person to appreciate the nature of the sport.

A swing is easy to understand; however there are times that you need to re-examine yourself, especially on those tiny mistakes. To start playing this sport, learn these four basic golf swings.

Teeing off. Very basic for most beginners. Since a tee is a stand that holds a ball, it may be very frustrating when you can't hit the ball the first time around. All it takes is patience and practice. Once you hit a ball, then you're on the roll.

Take a subtle grip on the club. Don't grip it tight and don't hold it lightly. Take note that on each grip, you can get multiple results. If you tighten the grip, you'll get a hook shot. If you grip it too lightly, your ball will land over into trees.

Use backswing and downswing only when needed. It might create confusion to players. If you don't know a downswing, it's where the club creates momentum; and gripping it too lightly will result on the ball landing nowhere in the distance. One great tip is to swing back once using the strength of your arms; not your wrists and hands.

Use a slower downswing. To execute a swing that does not create enough momentum, do not tighten their grip on the club. This is what usually most players do to measure the transferred weight from the swing to the ball. To get it right, use a 20-30% faster dowsing. Keep your left shoulders and hip properly aligned towards the right. This will result in not using a slow backswing.

From swinging clubs, you will be able to know the basics of playing golf. Understand and master each basic techniques and you will improve. Constant practice will always create better results.
