I was playing a round of golf the other day with a mate of mine who happens to be an excellent teaching pro. There was just there two of us and were paired up with two other guys who were friends.

Now my buddy doesn't like to tell strangers on the course that he's a pro - he's had too many experiences of strangers ruining his round by hassling him every second shot for some golf swing instruction. I've played with him often enough to know not to mention it.

The funny thing is seeing average golfers trying to give swing advice to their buddies...when they really have no idea whjat they're talking about. One of these guys really rated himself as being as good as a pro when it came to advice - unfortunately the advice he was giving was really not good for his buddy's game.

I'll be honest, I'm a handy enough golfer, but I try and avoid giving advcice unless I'm 100% sure I know what I'm talking about.

And it's the same when I'm searcing for info about the golf swing online. There are so many posers out there trying to pass off second rate info as quality training tips that it's hard to locate the good stuff.
