To my friend Alaa':

I hate to believe that just because a person writes sad of as some people say ; " disturbing things about life" then that person is marked to be disturbed or insane. To be truthful , I write because it is one thing that helps me vent .I write because my pen is too powerful to resist. I write because I love it. Though most of the things I write about have nothing to do with my experiences I hate to say that it is all what I can write about.

The pain gets harder

As the knife digs deeper

Cutting through my heart

Wish we didn't have to depart

I hate those (f) goodbyes

Reminding me of dark times

Together we experienced the pain

To the whole world we were considered insane

As sisters we changed

the world and together embrace

the dark. We swore never to give up

To keep on pushing nonstop

Though today we depart in tears

Tomorrow I swear we'll conquer our fears
