Obesity and food related medical problems have been hitting the headlines considerably in the past few months, along with the importance of a healthy diet and daily exercise.
For food lovers it has been mainly bad news, because all of the food that we love the taste of so much seems to be on the hit list of the media and the medical practitioners, and everything food that is bland and tasteless is what we are being force fed by the same sources.

Choose the diet options they are calorie free if you are trying to lose weight.
Vodka
Contains less of the chemicals that give you a hangover than most other drinks, it also contains less calories than beers.
Low calorie mixers are the way to go or fruit juice which you can count towards your five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
Whisky
Whisky in small doses helps to prevent heart disease, strokes and cataracts, it may also help against cancer because of the ellagic acid it contains.

A glass of beer helps maintain strong and healthy bones, because of the silicon in it, drinking beer in moderation can lower your risk of stroke.

Guinness
Guinness helps to reduce blood clotting that leads to heart attacks.
Guinness is a good option because you feel fuller after a glass than with beer.

There was a time when I drank Vodka, but that was long time ago.I like the dark chocolate and the sparkling wine, eat Moderate bacon.
Don't like pizzas, but eat them as the family like them. There is only one night a month.
Still have some health concerns. Not fat very thin.
