A Horse - only if you live in the country and she can ride.

A Dog/ Cat/ Rabbit - But this is only if they already really want one. A pet is for life. They are little people and must be treated as such!

My biggest tip is to listen, because we all drop hints. Keep a little notebook and when she says she likes something write it down. My Mom remembers things I like and buys them the next birthday/ christmas even when I'm not hinting. SOOO Sweet.
