I love this chicken!!!
You will need 4-8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Depends on how many you are feeding. You will also need 1 lg. bag of Sargento Mozzarella and Provolone shredded cheese. You will need a pkg of bacon and also a sm can of mushroom pieces and stems. Also, some Magic Poultry seasoning. It comes in a slim box by the other seasonings and has a chef drawn on the front. It's great stuff! You will need a lg pan...it can be metal, glass or foil. You will also need foil wrap.
Heat your oven to 365 degrees. Rinse the chicken breasts off good and then take a knife and stick each one on both sides about 4 times, and then rub them down with the seasoning. Place the breast on a piece of foil big enough to wrap it in completely. Do this until every one of them is on the pan. Place the pan in the oven until its almost all the way cooked through. I can't give an estimate because every oven is different. The best thing to do is to open one of the foil wraps up and take a knife and cut into the middle of the breast and see how much longer it will need. If its still pink anywhere inside, then it needs to cook longer..until it all turns white. While the chicken is baking, be frying up the bacon. When the chicken is almost done, pull it out of the oven, open the foil from around it, leaving it just open exposing the top of the chicken breast. Place as many mushrooms as you like on top of it, then place two slices of the cooked bacon on top of each breast and then smother each breast with the cheese. Leave the foils open and place the breasts back into the oven. When the cheese is melted all the way, then take the breasts out and enjoy! I really love them, so I hope you will too!
