With a little effort...

Do you want to get the most out of your vehicle? It’s not as hard as some may initially believe. In fact some things can be done at no cost with minimal effort. In this blog, there are many fuel-saving tips to help you do just that.

Drive with Care-

Driving with aggressive maneuvers (speeding, heavy acceleration, and braking) greatly affect your vehicle’s fuel mileage. Your vehicle can be affected by up to 33% during highway speeds and 5% during city speeds. If you take this tip into consideration next time you’re behind the wheel you could save.

No More Idling

Try to avoid excess idling. When the car is not moving, it is getting 0 mpg. If you aren’t going somewhere, turn that engine off.

Cruise Control

Using cruise control on the highway ensures a constant throttle control which will prevent that indecisive foot of yours from wasting fuel.

Overdrive

Most automatic transmission equipped vehicles have an overdrive option. Whether it be a button on the shifter or a gear selection, use it. This overdrive gear lowers the engine speed and increases fuel mileage.

Tire Maintenance

Maintaining your vehicles tires is a vital step in helping save that precious gold in your fuel tank. Keeping your tires inflated to the manufactures specification will undoubtedly save you a few more pennies at the pump.

We care about our customers and we do everything possible to keep them saving money.
