Good News, Coffee Lovers!
53Essentials Health News
Do you love coffee? Yes I am, but not that much for my fiancé. Especially coming from a Chinese cultural background, people usually think one can easily addicted if they drink coffee too much. It is true because coffee does contain caffeine. The fact is, how much is too much?
Anyway, in order to persuade my fiancé that drinking coffee is not that bad, I try to do some simple research (not so in details). Hope my findings (in summary) may cheer our coffee lovers up!
1. Coffee does not contain high calories
A normal cup of coffee usually contains about 10 calories. It becomes a fattening beverage when the coffee is mixed with creamer, whipped cream, high sugar, or full-cream milk. If we drink a cup of coco milk with the same amount of creamer, milk and/or sugar, the beverage is not that healthy to us, too. Due to this reason, I usually reduce the sugar and mix with low-fat milk. It tastes not bad when I used to it.
2. Coffee helps to energize
Everyone knows that coffee helps to energize because it contains caffeine. That is a fact and that is why it may not suitable for EVERYONE. It may also cause negative effect when it is excessively consumed. However, 2 cups of coffee a day is fine to a normal person.
3. Coffee contributes in health
Many researches have been done to find out the advantages against disadvantages of coffee. I do like to share my personal experience on the effect after taking coffee. 2 very simple results I can place my feedback: coffee does help to reduce the pain of my migraine; and it helps to stimulate and improve my bowel problem. I found a very informative message about the benefits and negative effects of coffee in Wikipedia, which I have just listed out the listing for a quick reference on coffee and health.

Welcome! I take a cup every morning too, and sometimes one in the afternoon while in the office. I limit myself 2 cups the max for a day.
Thanks for sharing the good elements of coffee.
Personally, I am a coffee addict... love my brew, but really only drink a couple of cups a day, generally.

I have one cup of coffee (1/2 & 1/2) every morning. I like the benefit factors you've point out. Thanks.
