Google Adsense Trouble
50This just happened to me yesterday and I'm still trying to sort it.
One of my web sites--wont say which, dont want to get told off again, normally carries Google Adsense adverts. I was doing some basic maintainence when I realised that the Google ads had been replaced with shall we say adult adverts.
Upon investigation I found that they were from somewhere called "Rmxads" and that they are associated with spyware called "Searchingbooth and Deskwizz"
Have reported this to my ISP and to Google.
Am very concerned on several fronts.
If someone clicks on ads--I dont get paid!!!
I don't like the idea that someone else can add to my website without me knowing.
I don't like the fact that it could reflect very badly on me and at its extremist could get me sandboxed.
Has anyone else come across this?
If not please regularly check any sites you may have to ensure what you put on them is still there.

Just to kill the rumour--YOU DO NOT GET THIS FROM VISITING PORN SITES
It could happen to you--please please regularly check your sites especially if you use Adsense

I would think that in order to get that sort of adware, you would have to visit porn sites, which I don't, so no...I've never had that trouble.
I did once long ago stumble inadvertently into a porn site, or a site that was about something else, but was supported by porn ads, and got some nasty spyware. Now I use Sandboxie (a free program) to surf, and the spyware can't get to it if that ever happens again. I'd suggest you do that as well, if that is a concern.
