Some people may be wondering what the big deal is about Google Assassin. Since my first post the other day, I've received no less than 30 emails with people asking what all the fanfare is about.

Well, for starters, Day Job Killer (the prequel to Google Assassin) was a Clickbank bestseller and one of the few affiliate marketing guides that actually took people by the hand and showed them how to make money online. It's no wonder that Day Job Killer had sold more than 9000 copies in it's first week. It also got very good reviews by not only its users, but from other internet marketers as well.

Having seen some of Chris' testimonials for Google Assassin, I can tell you that many many people actually did kill their day job by applying the methods Chris laid out in DJK.

As many of you know, since Chris and Ken laid their Adwords methods out in Affiliate Project X and DJK, thousands upon thousands of affiliates - from the experienced, to the newbie - swarmed Adwords with these strategies. What happened? Google slapped us all. Like the 3 Stooges. Actually, more like the 10,000 Stooges.

And where did that get us today? With sky-high bid prices and little to show for it. But the better question is, "Why did this happen?"

It happened because people were unimaginative. Chris gave away a horseracing gambling niche when he gave away DJK. Do you know how competitive that area is today? You'd have to bid $5 per click just to get in that game. People were not thinking for themselves. Chris' methods are solid - they always were. The problem is everyone went after the exact same niches or just chose the most popular Clickbank product to promote.

Subsequently, you had hundreds, if not thousands, of affiliates promoting the exact same product to the exact same niches. This is not a recipe for success.
