55Chrome OS Coming 2010
Google is getting into the "operating system" games with Chrome OS, not to be confused with Chrome the browser. However, just like Chrome the browser, Chrome OS (operating system) is promising to be lightweight. Google Chrome OS is expected to be on a netbook near you the 2nd half of 2010.

Behind the Scenes Of Chrome

Google Chrome Behind The Scene - the unofficial transcript to the Chrome video. See why Chrome the browser is used by over 30 million people.
Google Chrome OS
Google is reported to be in partnership with Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, Hewlett-packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments in relationship to the Google Chrome OS project. Google itself saids it has been working on Chrome OS for the last nine month -- (They are making a baby, it's a operating system LOL). So far, over 30 million users (me included) use Chrome the browser.
Google is jumping into the OS Market because it believes our current browser choices were created for the days that have past. I'm hoping more features with the Chrome browser will be accessibilty when used along with Chrome OS.
Google Chrome OS target market will be with notebook/netbooks. Just like the browser, Google OS will be focused on speed, ease, and security. The system will work on X86 and ARM chipped computers.
Google is joining Windows, Mac, and Linux in the OS market. What do you expected from Google Chrome OS?
