Google's newest Gmail has some wonderful features. Not only is it easy to use but also offers no pop-ups and no untargeted banner ads. Also the ads are only ones that are useful and interesting such as text ads.

Gmail also offers a way to chat with your friends right from your e mail. On Gmail you can find a way to video chat, text chat, and voice chat.

Gmail has an excellent spam blocking system. If for some reason an unwanted message does make it to your inbox, you can fight it with just the click of a button.

Gmail also offers an internal search for messages. No matter when it was sent or received, you can find a message without having to search all of your messages. And since Gmail has plenty of free storage space, you do not have to delete any of your messages. If you do happen to run out of storage space you can simply purchase more from Google.

Labels are also a nice feature of Gmail. You can create your own labels to file your messages under. This way you can title them so you will know exactly what the messages refer to. Gmail also has a special feature of "stars" so you can mark your important messages.

By creating filters in your Gmail you can manage all of your incoming messages. Now Gmail offers on the go e mail. On this you can have access to your e mail where ever you are without having to find a computer.

For those who are always in a hurry and very rarely have time to check e mail, Gmail offers "Quick Contacts" and "Keyboard Shortcuts".

Another wonderful feature of Gmail is you will find your messages put into context. If you receive a response to an e mail you sent you will get the response as well s the original message all in chronological order. Each time you receive a new response it will be put in your inbox along with all of the other messages pertaining to that subject.

One really nice feature offered by Gmail is the Gmail Blog. This is where Gmail users can blog about their problems, concerns, or tips to make Gmail better.

Gmail also offers "Messaging" and "Collaboration" features so that it is easier for teamwork in a business. They also have solutions for ISP's, non-profits, and school systems.

Gmail offers a calendar that can be shared with others or kept private. This way a business can put all of their important meetings et cetera online so that all can see. This means no more going around and telling each employee or sending out individual letters or notices.

You can also choose between a standard view or an older HTML view for slower connections. This comes in handy if you are still using a dial up internet service.

This e mail also has a way you can personalize your e mail. You can add your inbox to your home page, change colors of your G mail, manage how often you wish to have the spam in your spam folder deleted.

Probably the most unique and interesting feature of Gmail are the recipes which use Spam at the top of the spam folder. At the top of the inbox you can find things such as news items, interesting quotes, funny sayings et cetera.

If you find you have not new messages in your inbox you will find an option to read your favorite site updates with Google Reader. They also offer the link to Google Reader.

Gmail is also trying a new technique where you can actually access your account even when you are offline. Gmail will actually use gears to download a cache of your mail. In the event you lose your connection the data that is stored on your hard drive will be utilized instead of the data wich comes over the network. While offline any messages you may send will automatically be stored in your drafts box and sent the next time you are connected.

They are also testing a technique where web apps will be available offline. This will be for IE and Firefox users as an open source browser extension.

Google even has a "Getting Started Guide-Gmail Help" website to walk you through using Gmail.

Also offered are websites pertaining to what is happening in Google labs and what may be coming to Gmail in the future.

If you are looking for an e mail that offers plenty of extras while still providing you with a great e mail service. You have to look no farther than Google's Gmail.

The very best part of the entire deal is the fact that you get all of this completely free. No cost to sign up or use.
