Google Navigation
Google Navigation is the next thing to take the world by storm. Maybe we should let Google navigate the economy. I remember when Google's stock first came out and I thought to myself no way it is worth a hundred dollars a share. They have no real product all they have is just a search engine.
Technology is moving at a phenomenal pace especially with all the pressure to have the next big thing. If you are ready to set up your Google Navigation App you will first need a phone equipped with Android 2.0.
Android 2.0 is a mobile operating system that was initially developed by Google. This will put pressure on the Iphone especially if more apps can be generated at a rapid pace.
Google's Navigation uses your phone's internet connection to facilitate up to date maps.
Product Features
You don't need the exact address to find your location. It works just like your simply using Google Maps. You don't have to be specific its techonology will help find it.
You can search by voice.
Just say where you want to go no typing at all.
If you forget the name of the place you can sometimes use key information about a particular place to find your destination.
Live traffic view
You get a aerial view of traffic that is color coded and changes every few minutes so you can decide on alternate routes.
Another great feature is that you can search for particular places while you are on your route. It you like a particular restaurant Google Navigation will find it for you.
Street view
The street view is terrific, not only will it sometimes tell you what side of the street you location is on but whether it is a business or residence.
Google Navigation is another solid product from Google and revolutionizes the way we are going to navigate thru life. I never expect anything less from those guys although they did suprise me with something, their price.
Google's price tag on this one must have been set by Robin Hood. It is much appreciated!
