Google Nemesis Review
I took a look at Google Nemesis and there is no doubt that Chris is an excellent marketer. But I find some flaws with Google Nemesis that I felt should be mentioned.
To begin with Google Nemesis is geared more so for the advanced affiliate marketer and I feel that a large percentage of marketers that found Google Nemesis to be worth looking into would possibly be overwhelmed and lost.
Anyone that begins with Google Nemesis is probably in the wrong place. To start out with learning affiliate marketing and how to be a successful Internet marketer you need to first develop the skills and learn how to do this. For any marketer the best place to learn would be The Wealthy Affiliate University. Not only is this good for beginning IMers but also a great resource for the advanced and experts as well.
To me, it seems like the strength of Google Nemesis is the fact that it can track keywords. There's already products out there that do this, or you can learn to do it for free. Oh, and it has a simplified web editor - Yep, got those for free to!
So for all that this product is worth and offers / has, there's a lot about Google Nemesis that is lacking. I see no mention in Google Nemesis of testing landing pages to increase conversions, and his "simplified" review creator, creates just that, ...reviews.
So that leaves the door open for opt-ins to increase value per customer. I also see no mention anywhere in Google Nemesis of advanced negative matching techniques to greatly raise CTRs on broad and phrase match keywords.
There are also ways to lower CPC bids, which is all about CTR, ...negative matching plays a part, as well as constantly split testing ads, tracking and testing over and over. You see, this product only gives you a little part of the big picture. This little part of the puzzle lacks A LOT more of what goes into making a successful campaign. So while it's going to contain some fancy looking pieces, there's still a lot more left to be desired in my opinion.
There's one more thing about this, and it's kind of a big point. There was no mention in Google Nemesis of how to take broad keyword phrases and match term phrases, then eventually track the exact terms that are generating those clicks, and bidding on them instead. This I guarantee you would be a lot cheaper and a lot more effective then broad/phrase.
The fact that inside Google Nemesis, he is giving away these "hot niches" is pretty worthless in my opinion. Especially when you give up the keywords being used because you will now have all those people trying it out and bidding on those exact same keywords, and then they are trying to use the same ads, same landing pages etc. This doesn't help you, it only creates frustration and loses money.
I'm sure he probably already has the most profitable keywords locked in, so while he can gross $1500/day (and mind you, he never mentions what his ad costs are on that campaign either), no one else is going to make anywhere near that amount. Your click costs are going to skyrocket because of all the extra competition that's just been created.
Any marketer worth his salt would try to find his own longer tail keywords that get searches based on those keywords and beat out the competition that way instead of using any list that was given away.
Chris is a good marketer, there is no doubt about that. He is great at selling, over-hyping, and promoting. The price for Google Nemesis is simply far to high and the methods can overwhelm probably around 70% of the ones who would even be interested in Google Nemesis. (just my speculation)
Google Nemesis Flaw
The price is way too high! $77/month puts the product out of reach for the majority of affiliate marketers out there.
An alarming issue that has been raised by other marketers is the fact that all your campaign information is stored on Chris X's server. Do you really feel safe trusting him with all your campaign information?
This is not an attack on his credibility or integrity because Chris is one of the more well known and notorious AdWords marketers out there. However, don't you think he would be tempted to peak at your successful campaigns and maybe perhaps uhhh, ...ohh, I don't know... copy them??
Probably not, I am sure he is an honest guy, but it's just something to keep in mind.
