Recently Google provided the translate option in Google Docs, where you can translate into other languages and share it with your contacts. Now, Google has added more language options to its Translate tool. We can now translate from English or other languages to Afrikaans, Belarusian, Icelandic, Irish, Macedonian, Malay, Swahili, Welsh and Yiddish.

Google Translate now supports 51 languages and 2550 language pair translation options. It also includes all the 23 official European Union languages.

"Today, we're excited to announce that we've added nine new languages to Google Translate: Afrikaans, Belarusian, Icelandic, Irish, Macedonian, Malay, Swahili, Welsh and Yiddish. " - Official Google Blog: Google Translate now speaks 51 languages

We can also translate into other languages using Gmail, Google Toolbar, Google Reader and in Google Docs, but the new languages are yet to appear in them. Hopefully, Google will add these and other languages as well in the near future.

The translation may not be the best in Google Translate but they are constantly improving it.

Nice hub. Adding more languages for translation means it'll be used by more people. :)
