Hubpages now supports Google Analytics
59In case you missed the post, Hubpages has announced that it now supports Google Analytics. Paul Deeds said:
"For those of you that want to dig deeper into the traffic trends on your hubs, we've added a new feature allows you to track your pages on HubPages using Google Analytics. Simply sign up for an analytics account and then enter the UA- code they assign you on your HubPages Affiliate Settings page.
These are the settings I recommend that you use when you sign up. You can use a different time zone if you like, but the data we report at HubPages is based on Pacific Time.
Website's URL: hubpages.com/profile/pauldeeds
(use the URL to your profile, not mine!)
Account Name: HubPages
Time zone country or territory: United States
Time zone: (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time
Be warned that the page view and referer data from analytics is never going to match up precisely with what we report. The method they use to collect data is different, so you should expect small discrepancies."

I feel very silly but I cannot even get pass the first step to sign in. When it asks me for my Website's URL, I write : hubpages.com/profile/myname but it comes back with an Invalid Input message.
What am I doing wrong?
I get the same invalid input
Thanks for the tip.
If you take a look at
http://hubpages.com/hub/Google-Analytics-for-Hubpa
you'll find that entering your profile is no longer the correct way to set up the Analytics account, but instead you simply enter
and it will take care of itself
Yes, John is right. It is working that way only
That's why hubpages should have a date like any blog...
Great video! Thank you :)
thank you keep it up!
