Traditional weddings are becoming less and less popular these days. There are more people having theme weddings. Theme weddings range from beach weddings and now even to Gothic Weddings. It is more acceptable these days to have the type of wedding you really want to have no matter how everyone is dressed or what happens at the wedding. It's not all churches and white dresses anymore. Brides have started wearing black or red instead of the white frilly dress with the veil.
Recently, it has come to my attention that there is a new demand for Gothic Wedding Dresses. There are many different styles that are considered to be Gothic Wedding Dresses and they are fairly easy to find on the internet. Gothic Wedding Dresses are usually black purple or red and can sometimes resemble a renaissance dress or look more like a vampire dress. Either way, there are many styles to choose from.
There are some sites on the internet that cater directly to Gothic Wedding Dresses where you can look at the many different styles available. If you are unable to find your perfect dress you can go to a store to find a pattern for different gothic costumes and make your own. If you make your own be sure to decide what type of Gothic dress you would like, whether it be long and flowing or short so you can show off your black fish net stockings. If you have the type of Gothic dress you want in mind, it will make the searching a little bit easier.
Gothic Wedding Dresses that I have found on the internet range in price from about $100 - $500 all depending on the style and the fabric you wish to have. If you are having trouble finding a website or store that sells Gothic Wedding Dresses, than I suggest looking for costume stores or Halloween stores. Even though the dresses are listed as costumes you may just find the perfect one.
Since there are not too many Gothic Wedding Dresses stores around that you can just go into, if you do not want to make your dress yourself you will probably have to order it from an online store. There are many online stores to choose from where you can find the perfect dress but make sure to be careful where you purchase from just as you would with anything else you buy on the internet. Check the return policy of the store and their guarantee.

I agree with you completey. For my own wedding I am having white everything. Normal and traditional. I came across information that a lot of people had been searching this very topic so I thought I would take my chances and write a hub about it . Try to get some more readers out there.
thanks The Bride
I want a Tim Burton type wedding.
that would be pretty cool! my brother wants one like that too!
My friend is after something like this, I will have to get her to have a look. I LOVE the purple one... But I'm sticking with Ivory. Alfred Angelo for me :D

Interesting, The Bride, but I think I'll keep in my mind the lovely bridal color White. This idea of Gothic brides gives me the creeps. What...instead of champagne, they're going to drink blood? (Maybe I don't understand this fad, but I think it's cuckoo.) But, at least your hub is informative. Best regards, Helen
