Gourmet Popcorn Seasoning Online – Kernel Seasoning’s Popcorn Flavor Guide
70Almost everyone loves popcorn! Air popped popcorn is a very healthy snack that is very low in calories. Once you add butter, oil and salt, it becomes a less healthier treat. A good alternative, and in my opinion, a tastier option for popcorn is gourmet popcorn seasoning! I recently just started to buy popcorn seasoning online and really love it. Not only is it easy to put on my popcorn (no melting butter, etc.), I also have started using certain flavors on other foods such as corn, potatoes, meat, fish, etc. Overall, I’m really impressed with the variety of flavors offered by this gourmet popcorn seasoning company, Kernel Seasonings.
Overall, Kernel Seasoning’s offers 11 different popcorn seasonings to choose from. Presently, you can buy them in 6 packs on Amazon.com for about 2 dollars a container of seasoning; not a bad deal. As always, Amazon also offers free shipping for orders of $25 or more.
Gourmet Popcorn Seasoning Gifts – Gift Basket Idea!
For the Holiday Season, I plan on purchasing 2 different flavors (12 bottles) and putting 2 of each flavor in 6 different gift baskets. That paired with a bag of popping corn and some fun popcorn bowls, will give me 6 unique and very affordable gift baskets for the gourmet popcorn lovers in my life. This option is more affordable than buying those huge popcorn tins where the popcorn gets pretty stale, anyways.

Kernel Seasoning’s Caramel (My favorite flavor)
This is the first seasoning that I tried. It’s only 5 calories per serving. Before switching to this popcorn topping, I was using melted butter and brown sugar. Now, I use this topping in Caramel with a bit of “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray.”
Kernel Seasoning’s White Cheddar
The second seasoning that I tried is the White Cheddar flavor. I love cheddar cheese popcorn, but it’s almost always stale when I purchase it in the store. This way, I get to pop my own corn that tastes fresh and fluffy and add gobs of white cheddar on top. (At only 3 calories per serving of white cheddar popcorn seasoning!)

Popcorn Seasoning - Not Just for Popcorn!
As I wrote earlier, I also enjoy using popcorn seasoning on veggies, potatoes, etc. White Cheddar is great on mashed potatoes and I am looking forward to trying the ranch on some steamed zucchini. Apple cinnamon would be fantastic on oatmeal in the morning, or on top of tart apple slices. With the barbecue flavored popcorn seasoning, you could make your own barbecue potato chips - slice thin potatoes, sprinkle with the powder and bake in the oven.
The possibilities for tons of gourmet fun are endless when you utilize popcorn seasoning in your everyday cooking!
