MY GOUT

I have suffered from terrible gout attacks for

well over 15 years now. The attacks get more

frequent as I get older, my feet get the brunt of

the pain, especially my toes which swell up and

even a sheet touching them at night brings

tears to this grown man.

I have had various versions of this disease, from

aches in my feet, my shins have swollen up and

if you touch them a dent would stay there for at

least 5 minutes, various toes have become

swollen then suddenly they go down only to

reappear on the other foot within 20 minutes.

My heels & knees both ache and throb with

pain from these attacks and now my Achilles

heel is getting affected.

This pain is a disgusting severe ripping feeling. It

is absolutely horrific.

I have one friend who has Gout so bad that he

has huge lumps on his elbows and index fingers.

The doctors regularly cut these lumps open and

scrape out the greyish yellow powder.

You can even get it in the form of a lump on

the hand or fingers, and you can even get it as

a lump on your ear or on your spine.

Nice isn’t it…

Last year I could feel small aches in my feet for

about a month before Christmas, but due to

Christmas parties and the end of the year I

ignored the early warning signs and kept eating

and drinking the wrong things at all of the

Christmas parties and work functions.

By Christmas time I could not walk, which did

not go down well with my wife as we had

friends and family coming over for lunch and

dinner. Two shifts of cooking and hosting which

my contribution was sitting on the couch the

whole time, in agony.

1 month later I still had the pains, which has

caused me to really look into what Gout is and

to write this book.

I am sick of this disease taking over my life and

lifestyle.

People who have never experienced Gout pain

in any form have no idea how bad it is.

You know what I mean don’t you?

Yes it could be matched to passing a

watermelon out of your backside or giving birth,

except it lasts for days and sometimes weeks

and months.

I am a reasonably tough man who has done

many years of martial arts and surfing. I believe I

am quite a HARD person. But Gout just reduces

this bad boy to a tearful, slow moving, old man

who is useless to anyone and becomes a

couch potato or is bedridden.

What is Gout

GOUT

Ever woken up in the middle of the night with a sharp throbbing pain in your heal, or the feeling that a hammer just smashed your big toe? A pain in the knee joint, elbow or hands, fingers or back?

Then you recall that you might have had a few drinks the night before, maybe a lot of meat and seafood during the week or month?

Chances are you might be feeling the first stages of:

GOUT – THE MOST PAINFUL OF ALL ARTHRITIC DISEASES.

Chronic Gout

Gout is a chronic disease, and over time goes from acute articular gout to its more dangerous chronic form.

There are signs to be read when attacks occur here are a few little known effects to be aware of:

A bad taste

A coated tongue

Pains in the neck and headaches

Muscular soreness in the cervical and lumbar regions including the legs, this will disappear as the day goes on.

(Recognise these above??)

Well here are some more:

Sciatic pain

Burning sensations of the hands, soles of the feet the palms and eyeballs.

Disturbances in the digestive areas, which cause frequent vomiting, cramps, diarrhoea and stomach pain.

More?

Eczema

Chronic bronchitis

Asthma

Emphysema

Conjunctivitis

Iritis

Keratitis

Hemorrhagic retinitis

Glaucoma

Lesions of the eyes

It is amazing how the body shows early signs of problems. So now it is time to change this by asking your self do I want to Change my dietary and exercise habits?

If the answer is YES then it is time to be

“LOOKING AFTER YOURSELF”.

Who wants a world of pain to follow you around? Not me…

Purines cause Gout

Purines

Purines are in most foods, you cannot hide from

them but you can certainly control their intake

into your body.

So what are Purines?

Main Entry: pu·rine

Pronunciation: 'pyur-"En

Function: noun

Etymology: German Purin, from Latin purus pure + New Latin

uricus uric (from English uric) + German -in 2-ine

1: a crystalline base C5H4N4 that is the parent of compounds

of the uric-acid group

2: a derivative of purine; especially : a base (as adenine or

guanine) that is a constituent of DNA or RNA

“By permission. From Merriam-Webster’s Medical

Dictionary ©2002 by Merriam-Webster, Incorporated

History of Purine

Purine was named by the German chemist

Emil Fischer in 1884. He synthesized it in 1898.

Fischer showed that the purines were part of

a single chemical family.

Purines are a double ringed crystalline organic

compound commonly found in the body and in

many foods.

The Role of Purines are:

Information Molecules, that convert genes to

proteins.

Purines also convert energy produced by

oxidation, dispose excess nitrogen from cells,

protect cells acting as an antioxident and act

as messengers signalling cellular actions such as

nerve conductions and muscle contractions.

Gout and other diseases of purine metabolism

such as Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome are due to a

deficiency of HPRT or enzyme 21.

Purine Autism can be caused by an over

production or purines.

New Gout Cure

I just discovered a new Gout Remedy.

It is a herbal remedy from Tasmania , Australia.

It is called the Australian Kunzea, or Kunzea ambigua, or the common name the Tick Bush, Ducane Kunzea.

This remarkable plant comes from the North Eastern Tasmania areas and south east Australian Mainland.

The Bush is named after animals were often seeing sleeping under the bush and getting ticks fall on them, hence the Name " Tick Bush".

The chemical make up consists of Alpha-pinene, 1,8-Cineole, glubulol, viridifloral, biocyclogermacrene and alpha-terpineol.

The Tick bush has proven properties that have been know and used in Australia for many years since early pioneers were shown it by aboriginals.

The oils have excellent results in the temporary relief of Arthritic pain, relief of influenza, muscular pains, nervous tension and relief of rheumatic pain. BUT for Gout sufferers it is an excellent herbal remedy or cure for Gout.

The oil is rubbed on the swollen gout affected areas and literally causes the uric acid to excrete through the skin causing a ' Healing Rash'.

Stay tuned for more on this wonderful Gout Remedy as it has been snapped up by some smart Australians to produce new product ranges for Arthritis and Gout.

You can actually buy the oil from Tasmania , but will have to really search hard to find someone who sells it at the moment.
