This is not easy for a man to hear, yet alone write about another man who cheats on his wife and family and commits adultery against his wife.  The reason it is not easy is because it gives men a bad name and stinky reminder of how we can be.

Governor Mark Sanford went missing a few days ago, reportedly lost hiking in the mountains; only today to find that he was in Argentina seeing a mistress.  Married men around the world have one of their wives eyes on them; and their wife's other eye on every female working or friendly relationship they have.

I like to make the point that there is a whole lot of cheating going on in the city, the country, and everywhere.  All types of life cheat.  Politicials come from within the people; so they are regular men just like anyone else; and are prone to the same mistakes.  Mark Sanford, as he explained it in his "breaking news" press conference, that his affair started as a genuine friendship of helping each other out.  Emails went to phone calls, and finally after 7 years of friendship, my trademark theory finally hit the surface.

My theory is that men and women when friends have channels and energies, that change and go up and down as a barameter.  At a point in the friendship, either one of the friends, male or female, will develop and attraction to the friend.  The male will become attracted to the female, or she to him, and even them both at one point.  This is called the Good Man Theory!

Governor Mark Sanford fell into this and it bit him like the worse rattle snake can.  He was a man to confess his wrong, and be honest with his wife and family and the public.  I know a great man in the bible who did that, and God called him honorable because he acknowledged his wrong.

I hope the media doesn't have a frenzy over this as they normally do.  This was the first politician to have a press conference and his wife wasn't painfully by his side.  I am starting to believe, however, at the rate that politicians are having these confessional press conferences, that a woman who marries a future politician and those currently married to one; should expect this.  At the very least, these women should just allow their husbands to have more than one wife.

I know ridiculous; but nearly necessary in politics.  I think President Barack Obama will make a change in this area as well.
