I deal in comic books, paperbacks, magazines plus a few collectible vinyl pressings. Hardly high return items! Since many items failed to move I was forced to absorb listing fees. That resulted in successful sales basically going to cover charges for items which did not sell. The only real winner financially was (Fe)Ebay!

I was still determined to stick it out despite continually dwindling profit margins! Then the event took place which forced me to exit (Fe)Ebay as an active seller. No more money order transactions! All sales had to be conducted through PayPal. Suffice to say that PayPal is owned by, trumpet blast please, (Fe)Ebay! What a surprise.

All Pleas Fall On Deaf Ears When Human Ears Could Be Located

I did everything humanly possible to explain my concerns to the online tyrants. There were dozens of emails to well meaning employees who could not assist me and telephone calls to recording devices which went unanswered. When I did speak to a live person, which was rare, I was assurred that the new guidelines would make it better for everyone. At least (Fe)Ebay for sure!

Superior Feedback Did Not Mean Anything In Overall Scheme

What about all my excellent feedback and satisfied customers? Forget them! PayPal was now in control. Money orders and other payment forms were outlawed on (Fe)Ebay! Small sellers helped establish the online auction site and put it zillions of dollars in the black. Thanks guys and gals. Now get on down the line!
