Graffiti Letters

Welcome to the Graffiti Letters hub.

It would be impossible to run through all the different forms of graffiti letters because

a) there are too many different styles

b) I would have to make up stupid names for most of them because they have no one name, or there is no real consensus.

Graffiti does have a worldwide internet subculture, but only a small proportion of all graffiti artist use the web - and there are many differnet microclimates, languages and dialects...

Two types of lettering that I cover (if a little briefly) are Fat Cap graffiti letters and some super nice cleancut graffiti letters from Saber and Revok.

Anyway, it's the letters that are important not my words... so here is some stuff to get inspiration from.

Peace

Revok is an awesome graffiti artist. A good artist for beginners to get influence from. Revok has lots of different styles (always a good idea). He does a lot of crisp, almost calligraphic graffiti letters - very clean and well structured.

Saber is another great artist to get influence from.

His style of clean-cut graffiti letters and qualiy graffiti bombing stands out from the pack.

Using a Fat Cap (a wide spraying cap) you can achieve superwide and flared letters.

Fat Caps have created a style of their own, you can't really plan or draw this sort of graffiti lettering - its all about practicing with a FatCap!
