What Grampy's Little Green Car didn't know was that Grampy was not feeling very well. Grampy had a bad case of the flu.

A few days went by and Grampy's Little Green Car was getting very restless and there was still no sign of Grampy. Grampy's Little Green Car had to go for a drive, he just couldn't stand it any longer. He revved up his engine. Oh, that felt so good. He revved it up a bit more. Grampy's Little Green Car loved the sound of his own engine.

Grampy's Little Green Car backed out of the garage. He was very careful not to scratch himself on the garage doors. He knew that Grampy spent a lot of time washing and waxing him. He did not want to disappoint Grampy.

Grampy's Little Green Car couldn't believe it when he saw Grampy coming down the back stairs and out into the driveway where he was sitting. Grampy also had a suitcase with him.

"How did you know I was wanting to go on a roadtrip after recovering from that bad bout of the flu I had?" asked Grampy. "I guess you read my mind."

Grampy's Little Green Car was so happy that Grampy was okay and wanting to go on a roadtrip. He behaved on his best behaviour for Grampy, without breaking down once.
