Grand Theft Auto 4 review

Have you ever wondered how much it affects you the term "politically correct"? Why has this expression occurred and why the concept has spread so rapidly among those who love true democracy? What does GTA have to do with it and why is this series the black sheep of the industry it represents? The answer is simple, but you will not find in the lines below.
I am here after a course of GTA of a few days. I understand at last why all professional sites have praised this game so much. Simply because they have been paid to do so. I'm not at all disappointed with this game, as it happens in most cases when the hype is up, but GTA IV is shining in other respects than those presented by the more "privileged" than us. GTA IV, like any other title of the series is not a simple game, but a manifesto against the locked and frustrated, a book on the freedom of expression and action.
Liberty City is a fictional New York, but how else would the producers have managed to play all these ideas, if not by turning things upside down? Everything is illegal in real life, but here, everything is allowed. Everything you think or want to do in a virtual world, you can do it here. No, not New York is the city of opportunity, Liberty City is. There are limits, indeed, but i will ask you something: haven't you ever wanted to participate in a bank robbery? To feel how cops are preparing an attack while you are locked in a bank with no other way out? Haven't you ever wanted to do business with drugs, with flash money with diamonds or stolen cars ? Haven't you ever wanted to be so drunk that you can not control the little car that you drive?
I recently asked someone what profession would he choose among the many that are out there in this world and the first thing in his mind he said was a car thief, to learn how to break into cars, running on the path of the Sun with 200 mph. Then, to grow weed and to use it in different recipes. Unfortunately however, the closest experience he had he said was to smoke weed on a beach, and that was many years ago. He said he was an model individual of an used society, and needs GTA as an insulin-dependent diabetic.
Fortunately, however, even Liberty City is a city of freedom, where the police doesn't follow you when you go against the traffic, when softly hit pedestrians or other cars. If the majority is not signaling before a turn, why should you wait at the stop? Don't you have a car? Are you a pedestrian? it is solved. Any vehicle around you is available, but unfortunately some are already owned by others who might oppose the idea of the car being confiscated and if they do not, it would certainly be a nearby policeman who will teach you the lesson. Every action has a consequence. Freedom of expression and action do exist, but all have a price that you must be willing to pay. This is the whole truth and not half of it or quarters as some sites might present it trying to make their ratings and sales on the GTA phenomenon. Yes, you can beat hookers, but also mobs, weapons traffickers and other harmful species.
For what Rockstar has acheived here with GTA 4, and all the possibilities that it offers you, I remove my hat and worship with respect. When you don't want mafia and traffickers, you can come to a pool with friends in the contact list. If pool is not your taste, then you have to choose between bowling, darts, cabaret, strip club, comedy club, fast food or restaurant. You can even hook up with chicks on the net. You send them an e-mail and expect them to respond. If they say yes, then you go to the appointed time and place, beautifully dressed and with a sports car, freshly stolen from the yard of the regrettable neighbour. If you take the car to a car-wash or painting, then the result is guaranteed, not the first time but the second or third, for sure. Not even big words matter when you try to impress a law student or a nurse with your stylish clothes and a several hundred thousand dollar car. Sounds familiar?
