The only Gravy Train pet foods recalled so far are on this list. There are more recalls added nearly daily so keep checking back.

We bought gravy train beef flavor dog food for the first time but our dog throw up not even 1 hour after eating it. Is this product already tested and save for pets? We don't want to kill our pet by eating your product. Pls advice.

Dewey,

Gravy Train is NOT included in my SAFE LIST. This product has recalls and a Class Action filed against it for the number of pet deaths due to false advertising (saying this is a healthy choice for your pet). Not a good choice in pet foods.

Any updates you're aware of for this food? I tried it on my dog last week, she got sick after her 4th meal of it, and today she died. Will be contacting the FDA on Monday to see what they know and will send my left-over cans in for testing either through them or a private lab to see if there is any connection. I wish I had seen this site before and would not have fed her Gravy Train in the first place! Just too much of a coincidence to be perfectly fine until switch food.. then get sick immediately and die within another week.. 7 years old..

Do not send your unused dog food to the company that produces it. The company isn't going to admit the corn killed your dog and they aren't going to give your evidence back to you.

All the recalls have not been forced recalls. The company pulls it product from the shelf only if they want to.

I am sorry for your loss. Please, make as much noise with the FDA and other places. People need to be made aware that the grains in these pet foods are killing our pets.

I have one unoppened can left from the original cans I bought. Today I went back to the store I purchased those cans from and found 2 more still on the shelf with the same Codes stamped on the cans, so I bought both of those cans as well.

Codes on the cans I have are:

BEST BY NOV 11 10

BC7L11C2 KRB 0101

I will keep you updated with any information I find out.

My 6 month old Bichon Frise received a Gravy Train Pig squeak toy as a gift. Within 10 minutes he had chewed off one of the ears and was headed toward the squeaker before we took it away from him. I am concerned about the safety of this toy>

My dog has been eating this product for years, but just recently (1 wk ago) he started throwing up and would hardly eat anything out of his bowl. We thought it was his age but finally figured out it was the gravy train food. We got him a more expensive dog food (adult dog food) and he was eating it within 20 minutes of putting it in his bowl and he ate a lot of it and the next day he was even perky and he's not sick anymore.
