Clipart can be used for a variety of different things such as in the classroom, embroidery, graphics for signs, stencils, cutting on your vinyl cutter, and ect. Its always best to use Royalty free clipart for your projects. My favorite place to use them is graphics factory because you can download as many clipart graphics as you want and not have to pay extra for them. I use my clipart for different things so sometimes I need a vector graphic and other times I just need a raster graphic. They offer both types of graphics for download. A vector graphic is different from what most clipart designs you see around. When you enlarge a vector graphic it doesn't fad out like the raster graphics does. This is becasue its not comprised of pixels and the raster clipart does. A raster graphic is also known as a bitmap graphic from the file name .bmp . SInce its comprised of pixels, when enlarged it becomes diluted in a way. Usually you only need raster graphics but if you enlarging them or using a machine to follow them then you need a vector graphic. Graphics Factory offers various types of raster and vector files to download. Here are some of the raster graphic file types: .jpg, .gif, .png. Here are some of the vector graphic file types: .eps, and .wmf.

I use the .eps format alot for my vinyl cutter to make stencils, vinyl sticker graphics, and decals for cars. Its what sign shops use to make vinyl lettering and graphics. If you need lots of various clipart graphics for the classroom, your sign business, your embrodiery craft, or to decorate something then I recommend clicking here for unlimited downloads of royalty free graphics.

I thought this would be fun, Please leave a comment below for the following question: What creative things do you use clipart for?

I hope to hear from everyone. Also if you have any questions about graphic formats or clipart, let me know....
