Great Gift Ideas for Moms
67
I'm a Mom...I know how hard it can be to please me...but really...it's easy. I think all that we really want is to be noticed.
It's really easy to shop for your mom...here are some ideas:
Kids Photos - Anything that can be used to put kids photos in will be sure to steal our hearts. (Even gift certificates to get photos printed are good too!)
No cookbooks- Unless your kids mom really likes to cook...don't get her cookbooks...she'll just use it to slap you with!
No lingerie - Lingerie is a personal thing...when you buy it you are just thinking of you not her. Let her pick out something (meaning get a gift certificate)!
Time for themselves -Moms love to have time for themselves. Getting them certificates for a spa day or movies would be amazing! Even coupons handmade that promise time to veg out at home would be welcome.
Buy things for their hobbies- Does your mom have a hobby like scrapbooking, taking pictures, doing crafts or anything else? Spend some money on buying certificates for these things. I know there is nothing I like better than going crazy with a gift certificate at the scrapbooking store.

I had a problem deciding what to get my mom for Christmas because she doesn't read, have a favorite movie, obsess of a television serious (other than General Hospital), or anything like that. I ended up buying a new watch for her because her old one broke, and a bracelet, with a nice phrase about moms on it. She likes bracelets; I just hope she'll like this one.
My dad was easier to buy for. He LOVES "Little People Big World," so I bought him season 1 and an autographed copy of Matt Roloff's book.
