Where's the Beef?

Just do it.

They're gr-r-r-eat!

I'm sure the taglines above ring a bell! The infamous "Where's the Beef?" for Wendy's. Nike's "Just do it." And Kellogg's Frosted Flakes "They're gr-r-r-eat!" We all remember some great taglines that have stuck with us over the years.

This is why so many businesses work extremely hard to come up with a tagline that stands out and hits an emotional chord with consumers! It's part of their branding and it also allows some companies to use a company name that may or may not tell the audience what they do.

A good example of this is a company called SERVPRO. They specialize in fire and water cleanup. Their tagline, "Like it never even happened." really sums up what they do. It also connects with consumers emotionally because no one wants to deal with something as devastating as a fire or flood. But if they can clean a home or business up "Like it never even happened." then I bet you'll give them a call!

Another great tagline is "Share moments. Share life." by Kodak. Who doesn't want to share some moments and share some life with people?!? I can't imagine there are many people out there that don't! Even with the days of digital photography taking over 35mm, people still get pictures printed so they can "Share moments. Share life." with others!

I thinks taglines are great and they say a lot about a company. It can tell you their vision, their promise, their service, or anything else they may feel is important to consumers. The key to finding a great tagline for any business is to dig deep. You have to strip away the obvious and get right down to the root of who you are and what you're about.

Now maybe we should start giving ourselves personal taglines! It might make it a lot easier to build relationships with others. Hmm...now there's an idea for some social media interaction!

Just do it.
Just do it.
