Need Some Great Tattoo Ideas?
67
So how do I choose a great tattoo?
Great, so you think you want to get yourself a wicked looking tattoo, but you don't know where to go? Maybe you already have a couple and you want more or you want to fix one that isn’t really great. I have some great tattoo ideas and places to go!
First of all if you haven't found any ideas then go to Chopper Tattoo which has the bigeest database of printable tattoos online.
Either way, there are things you should really know before you get a lot if ink permanently injected into your skin. What I will describe is intended for people seeking a great tattoo.
If you don’t really care what it looks like or if you are planning on getting wasted and just carelessly getting a tattoo then you don’t need to keep reading, but if you want a tattoo that means something or stands out above the rest then here is some info.
Oh and yes, it hurts. But not too much.
10 Steps to do Before Getting a Tattoo
1. Decide why you want the tattoo.
2. Do you want to express something? Well think about what you want to express or has meaning to you.
3. Are you doing this to honor someone? If so, maybe include something they were interested in.
4. Search for pictures of other tattoos. I have found a great resource below for tattoos. These ideas or pictures can easily be transformed and brought into your artist.
5. If you find something similar to what you want, ask your artist to make whatever changes you want.
6. Remember try to make it unique for yourself.
7. Be creative, and consider adding a few designs together.
8. Keep in mind that some employers don’t allow visible tattoos.
9. Don’t worry about what others say about getting a tattoo, this is your decision, but they can help with the design!
10. Shop around for a good artist. Some may be more expensive but it may be worth it in the long run.
Finally remember that the designs or images you find can be altered, or the colors can be changed. A good tattoo artist can really work their magic and make things look really great. Your only limitation is your own imagination, but it is highly recommended to invest in some research at first.
If you are willing to invest $400 - $1000 for a tattoo that will last you for the rest of your life than don’t be afraid to spend $30 or so on a good resource for and tattoo research tool. Heck that is less than some greasy dinner and a couple of beer at your local restaurant. Click here if you want to find some Great Tattoo Ideas! Also check out my other hub on Tribal Tattoos!
