Great program that helped me lose weight while breastfeeding
61My children are 2 and 1/2 years apart and I had just lost the last pounds of weight from my first pregnancy when my second child was born. I had a much easier time losing weight after the second pregnancy but I pounds around the middle that I couldn't get rid of. I was also plagued by fatigue from caring for two children and breastfeeding a very demanding little one.
I found a great program that helped me gain some energy and deal with the pounds around my middle. Going to the gym or classes was out for me because of childcare issues so I looked for something that I could do at home. I found a series of core-strengthening exercises on the Mayo Clinic's web site. These can be done easily while your baby plays on the floor. These exercises really helped me get my shape back quickly and they helped to alleviate the aches and pains of sitting and breastfeeding. My son is two now and I still do these exercises when we are playing in the floor.
The link for this slide show is http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/core-strength/SM00047. The slide show is easy to follow and can be printed as an easy reference while doing the exercises. I have recommended these to lots of people and everyone who has tried them is impressed with the quick results.
This series of exercises helped me to get back on track with doing some more strenuous workouts and it can be done anywhere because it doesn't require any equipment. I don't know about the other moms out there but I find it difficult to squeeze in any time for me so this routine has really helped because it can be done throughout the day anywhere I land with the little ones.

Good luck to you!!! These few exercises really helped me out. It had been a long time since I had done any real exercises and you can ease into these at your own pace. My mom is even doing these (she's 59 and hasn't exercised in years). It sounds like you are really busy so these you can squeeze in when you flop down in the floor at the end of the day. That's about the only way I sqeeze any in. If you follow the instructions you will really feel an improvement in you muscle tone quickly. It was great hearing from you. Hope this helps you.

Thank you. I just had baby #2 (he'll be 3 months on the 10th) and I am going through what you went through - fatigue, breastfeeding, and extra weight in the mid-area. To top it off, I just went back to work yesterday (I am a part time toll collector) and now my back is killing me. I was thinking about core exercises, but I've honestly never really ewxercised before, so I had no idea where to start! This slideshow looks like it has exactly what I need! Now, I just need motivation;) Thank you so much - I'll come back and post a comment again and let you know how it goes...
