Rodger Daltrey - The Who

Daltrey comes from the original smash your instruments, and set the stage on fire band. The Who was listed by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the top 3 bands to see before you die, partially because Daltrey's microphone swinging, and great vocals, but it also had to do with Keith Moon's antic like entertaining drums, John Entwistle's trendsetting base play, and Pete Townshend's face melting guitar play. Undoubtedly Daltrey has the greatest rock scream ever. It will literally send shivers down your spine. From "My Generation" to "Who Are You" this band and Daltrey will drive your inner rock.

Axl Rose - Guns N' Roses

From controversy to chart topping hits, Guns N' Roses, and Axl Rose are one of the greatest rock bands.  The perfect compliment to Slash's absolutely amazing guitar play is Rose's voice.  The scratchy, high pitched voice is unbelievably amazing, just making you want songs like " Welcome to the Jungle" and "Sweet Child O' Mine" to never end.  Hopefully Axl and Slash will put their differences aside someday to put out another stellar albums like "Appetite for Destruction".  All they need is a little Patience.

Lennon & McCartney - The Beatles

It's just too difficult in my opinion to choose between theses two. These two had the power to enfold you into their feelings, and emotions. Whether it be Lennon or McCartney singing you could always imagine yourself in their words, swaying with tune. The stories told through their songwriting, or the driving force behind the powerful vocals always drew you in to their masterpieces. I don't think there will ever be a more influential, motivating group than The Beatles. One billion plus studio albums sold and counting is pretty big hill to climb.

Freddie Mercury - Queen

Freddie Mercury, the British rock star in my opinion has the greatest rock n' roll voice of all time. His ability to interact with the audience, and his energy on stage set him apart from everyone. The way that he can almost bring tears to your eyes in a soft comforting song, can quickly be whirl winded into a head banging, arm flailing rock freak out. It's not even the 300 million albums sold worldwide, or the continuous radio play of great hits, or songs played on every commercial on TV that make Mercury, and Queen so amazing, its the way that when you hear one those songs it can just be with you forever no matter where you go and what you do. I think everyone can agree that we will always be singing Bohemian Rhapsody in our heads.

Robert Plant - Led Zeppelin

Considered to be the original metal band, Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant changed rock as we know it.  Plant had a very mystical, and stand-out voice.  From the high notes to the low, from fast songs to mellow, Plant's voice, and Page's guitar fueled the rock world.  Often times considered to be the best rock song of all time, "Stairway to Heaven" was just a portion of Plant's genius song writing ability.  It's almost like an epiphany when you listen to a whole Zeppelin album,  Plant's voice just rocks your world.

Janis Joplin

The first true woman rocker had a bluesy style voice that fit perfect for the time period.  A lifetime of drug usage, and drinking led to a very short life for the Hall of Fame performer.  Her amazing voice, and skilled song writing helped change a generation of women, and shaped great artists like Stevie Nicks, and Joan Jett.

These are only a few of the greatest voices in Rock 'n Roll, but these are at the top in my opinion.  Vote which artist you think is greatest, if its someone else i didn't list here let me know who in the comments.
