cosette's fashion tip of the day:

Green, or eco-friendly products are no longer a fad - they are here to stay, and the fashion world is responding as well. More clothing and cosmetic companies are becoming aware of how their products affect the planet and its inhabitants, especially its animals. Clothing manufacturers are making clothes out of natural fibers like hemp, organic cotton, flax (linen), or textile fibers (which compost easily), recycled materials, and even soy, bamboo and corn. Some companies make sneakers out of recycled aluminium, biodegradable rubber and water-based glue. Just as organic food products have become more readily available and cheaper, so are clothing products.

Check out these very cute and reasonably priced 'vegetarian' cowgirl boots (meaning no cows were killed, pushed around or roughed-up, even). (I think these would look cute with some stonewashed jeans and a black tuxedo shirt.)

Wow! A guy, and first to respond to this hub!

I guess I'm entrenched in my 25 year old daughter's views on fashion. She is one smart gal, and she thinks similarly as you. LOL

Fun hub! Yes, GREEN is the new black.

Love it!
