Grilled teriyaki chicken legs
60Thank goodness for summer because with out the warm weather BBQing just wouldn't be the same. I love getting the BBQ hot and grilling some fresh chicken, it doen't matter if it is a breast, leg or wing. There is nothing like BBQ chicken ,esspecially if it has a bit of sweet delisiousness. Here is another great recipe for the BBQ, the sauce can also be used for stir fry with beef or pork too. Serve with warm or cold pasta and some grilled veg....hmmm...zucchini and shallots sound good...
12 to 15 chicken legs with skin serves 4-6
1 Cup soy Sauce
1/2 cup of water
2 tsp ginger juice (or 1 tsp powdered ginger)
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 tsp of sugar
In a glass or stainless steel bowl mix all ingredients except chicken. After mixing thouroghly add chicken, cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 2 -24 hour in fridge.
Cook on med heat over the BBQ, if cooking with fire keep chicken out of direct flame. Grill all sides of chicken legs until done, depending on the size of legs it usually takes 45-55 minutes. while cooking baste chicken with left over marinate about halfway during cooking. Serve and enjoy...

I hope everyone tries this recipe for the long weekend.......
This recipe made me hungry. Had to try it and it was indeed very good. Just for laughs I have to ask, what exactly are 'teriyaki chickens' and how big are their legs? I had to use normal, every day chickens.
