Dill & Lemon Salmon
I would recommend you buy salmon steaks for easier flipping.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 6 oz salmon steaks
- 4 tblsp lemon juice
- 2 tblsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tblsp lemon zest
- 2 teasp dried dill
Prep
Mix lemon juice, zest, oil, dill and garlic. Pour over salmon on a large plate and flip to cover both sides. Brush with marinade.Grill!
Grill for about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Salmon should be light in color and flake even in the thickest part of the fish.Lime Chili Salmon
A superb bold flavor. Don't forget to squeeze fresh lime juice on when pulling off the grill!
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
- 2 teasp lime juice
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/8 teasp black pepper
- 1/2 teasp sugar
- 1/4 teasp chili powder
- 1/4 teasp cumin
- 1/8 teasp salt
- 4-6 sliced lime wedges
Preparation:
Bring grill up to medium heat. Place salmon in a pan. Mix all the ingredients (except the lime wedges). Spread mixture over fillets. Make sure skin side is down on the grill and cook for about 17-19 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily.
Don't turn the salmon on the grill. After removing salmon from grill, squeeze lemon juice on before serving.
Favorite grilling tool - secret ninja weapon
I grill everything (meats, seafood, veggies, sloppy stuff, delicates) on a stone that I leave on my grill called a Grill'n Stone. It keeps all the juices from falling through the grate so everything is juicier no matter how badly I misstime my grilling session.
You can check it out at grillingstone.com
Oh and the stone distributes heat so evenly it makes cool spots vanish.
