The Benefits of Grocery Guide 'GroceryGuide.com'
62In April of 2007, GroceryGuide.com made its debut as a completely free aggregate (data combined from several measurements) website, for anyone wishing to easily save money on grocery products.
This amazing site combines and processes sales and pricing information from well-known grocery stores' sale circulars from all around the United States—extending as far back as the past nineteen years. The processed data generates at-a-glance charts, ratings, tracking, recipes, coupons and more with just a couple of clicks!
After signing up for the free service, you will then have complete access to the site—giving you the opportunity to search by store (up to two at a time), recipes, coupons, or items.
No-Nonsense Rating System
Being able to tell at-a-glance when a sale really is a sale, simply by looking at the star rating beginning at the lowest (half of a star) which is not a good deal, all the way to five stars—the best deal seen on this item in nineteen years:
- 5 Stars – New Low Price/Building Rating History
- 4 Stars – Fantastic Sale
- 3 Stars – Great Sale
- 2 Stars – Good Sale
- 1 Star – Okay Sale
- ½ Star – Close to Retail Price
Coupons
All coupons relating to grocery items are tracked by GroceryGuide.com and can be easily selected and printed from the site. Giving those who use them a convenient, one-stop place to save money while being able to print coupons for your next grocery shopping trip at the same time.
Recipes
GroceryGuide.com is able to give you main dish recipes if you find a really great deal on meat, or even if you just need some suggestions on what to cook for dinner. If you sign up for sales alerts, it can even notify you when the ingredients for that particular recipe goes on sale!
Price Charts
Since food is one of the basic human necessities, it is always in demand and prices fluctuate on a consistent basis. Some of the reasons for price variations are seasons, economy, supply, demand, cost of transport, etc.
This site uses a vast archive of sale prices from approximately the past couple of decades and is able to indicate with relevant price points in the form of charts to help you forecast an item's probability of going up or down.
It's Hard to Beat the Price of the Service — What a Bargain!
Imagine strolling down the aisle of your favorite grocery store, placing those items in
your cart where you know without a doubt the great deal you
are getting with your newfound knowledge. Having coupons in-hand
and taking advantage of the already low price with another extra money saving
opportunity. The even better added benefit of knowing all the while it did not cost you any money from the beginning—just
a few minutes of your time.

This sounds like a great site! I will definitely spend some time today checking it out. I currently subscribe to an online coupon club that does the same type of thing, but it costs about $15/month. I'll be really excited if groceryguide.com gives me the same helpful information for zero cost. Thanks again DarleneMarie. You always have such great tips.
