Beijing Road is a very famous commercial pedestrian street in Guangzhou city, China. Almost everyone who comes to Guangzhou wants to pay a visit to it. It is too crowded to ride a bicycle there; especially on holidays, you have to push through the crowd.

There are a few well preserved ancient stone roads of Song and Yuan Dynasties from 11^th to 14^th centuries. Beijing Road formerly called Shuang Men Di was a main avenue from south of the city to Ti Zi Terminal, through which officials landed into the city; it was also the central area where the bureaucratic officials and their families resided. To meet their needs, it gradually developed the busiest commercial center of Guangzhou city until today.

There are many different business stores, shopping malls, flavor snacks and delicacy plaza. There are also all kinds of craftworks, antiquity and specialty shops, publication rooms, drug stores, theaters, park etc. around. We like shopping clothes there because many famous brand clothing stores gather together so that we can shop one by one without wasting time. The flavor snacks there you can’t find in other places, even though they look like the same, they don’t taste as delicious as they are in Beijing Road. People walk along the ancient street and appreciate the variety of life while enjoying their delicacy, which really relaxes themselves. In the evening, you can go to the park where people are performing their talented hobbies, such as KongFu, dancing, chorusing, story-telling, games, walking dogs… that is why we like going outside to relax instead of staying at home, especially in evening and holidays.
