I love to cook.  The only thing that I find more exciting than cooking is finding a neat, funky gadget to use while preparing the dish!  Look closely at the following pictures.  Some may seem apparent but there are others that can really trip you up.

These are salad tongs; used to scoop salad up out of a bowl.  Pretty too!

 While this does look like a callous remover it has a more important function in the kitchen.

It's a jar scraper.  Made to contour to every edge of a jar so that you won't miss even a smidgen of peanut butter or spaghetti sauce!

Believe it or not, this is a bread tin.

 How pretty.  Wow.  I feel happy just looking at this gadget.  I see sunshine and happy clouds and more....   but; what is it?

A coaster with rubber tips so that you drink can't run away from you.

Music teachers may like the looks of these but they have a pretty useless reason for existing. I doubt that droves of people will be running to the store any time soon to buy one of these.

An egg cracker.

 If your toast is feeling a bit on the pale side, place in window within this contraption and your toast will turn a beautiful brown...right?  Well, kind of.  Not solar powered but electric.  If you are one who frets over burned toast or sandwiches then this is the contraption for you.

 Kind of like the groovy playground toys of the past, this lovely kitchen gadget has many friends in the kitchen.  Especially those that are impatient about preparing the meal.

This is a food chopper!

 Kind of looks like a kid's toy, doesn't it?  This flashy, metal contraption is a whiz in the kitchen.  For those that love a specific Italian food....
