In this article, we will consider some of the main advantages of becoming a fully fledged member of the United States.

If you are applying to become a US citizen then you will have lived in the United States for at least five years. In this time you will have watched and judged the Government and the topical decisions that they have made.

Regardless on your political view, that government were not yours, because until you are a member of the United States of America, you are unable to vote.

Just think, you have just missed out on being part of a huge part of history with the new president. Now that would have been a story to tell your grandchildren!

You gain stability once you are a citizen of the United States. You are guaranteed residency, taking away the constant fear that uncertainty brings and you are finally able to lay down roots that you can enjoy for the rest of your life.

No one knows what is around the corner, and although you are more than able to provide for yourself and your family now, in the future this may not be the case.

If for whatever reason you were no longer able to work, once you are a US Citizen you are eligible for these government benefits.

Two, your status is put on hold.

This could be because there may be a problem with your application or your background check.

Three, your application could be denied.

This could be because you haven't resided in on U.S ground for long enough or more problematic is that you may have lied on your application.
