Battle Lou in Expert mode with Easy mode:
When the battle with Lou starts at the end of the game on Expert mode, strum without holding any frets until you lose. At the "Game Over" screen, select "Tutorial". Pick the tutorial for Guitar Battle, and play through it until the "Lesson Complete" message appears. As soon as the next fret board appears, pause the game, and exit to return to the lesson menu. Then, press Red to return to the list of songs. The battle with Lou will be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will now be set to Easy mode.
Note: Your note chart will still be in Expert mode, but Lou's will be in Easy mode.

hyperspeed is the wrong cheat
the video with the guy doing through the fire and flames with his friends cheering him on is awesome. i cant make it past 2%! lol. it'll take me a long time to do that on expert, even though i can do it on hard sort of easy.

unlock everything cheat works.... when you key in the notes and strum them it wont make a sound but the game registers it... just pump through all the combos and itll work when you hit the last one

some of those songs arent even in the game, at least... for wii. its possible they can be on the other consoles, but the few Blue Öyster Cult, Bloc Party, and strokes are definately NOT in the wii version.
what exactly does the precission mode and easy expert do?
the songs don't change from game to game, only DLC tends to be different. for the missing songs that are promised: play the 2 player co op to unlock them. I've got all the songs on the PS3 version, plus what's available to buy seperately.
as for bret micheals: notice on one song your singer changes? want that guy all the time? use the code.

just strum the colors it says, wait three seconds, strum the next one, keep going until it says its unlocked. u cant save it in there forever, if u turn it off, u have to enter the cheat again, when u turn it back on.
guitar hero 3 is the best one ever made and i think it is great and i bet that nobody can beat me at it.
actually, the cheats stay on the game if u save them, u can turn it off without saving them, but u have to enter them again to have them, if u want them forever, keep it saved.

When it comes to the battle with Tom, my game won't load. I can play all the other 8 songs all I want, but that is it. I had it working until the battle w/ Slash... then it froze. The reason it is not working 1 you are not pressing down the frets right 2 you wrote the cheat down wrong 3 somtimes the wireless guitar doesn't work. Its a great game. Ive owned it for a month now and have done easy with all 5 gold stars.Medium with most gold stars and have made it through 32 songs on hard and 1 on expert. Wont take long to finish it up. Why do you people need cheats?? they just ruin a game if you havent completed it by yourself and its more fun to unlock everything yourself.

ok so i've tried the unlock all songs code and its not working..... i've tried like 10 times..... does it work for the songs on co-op? because the only song i want is Monsters and no one can ever come over and do co-op with me so... how do i get it???

Hyper speed only makes the notes go by faster, it doesn't change the song speed. It's not that amazing if you beat a song on hyperspeed unless it's like 4x

Alot of the cheats work its just that they are kinda unorganized and unclear as to what system they work on and all that...
As for everyone who says cheats are for losers... I have beaten the game twice unlocking everything... after the 3rd time my data got corrupted i was tired of unlocking all the damn songs again and again.... (So i just used the cheat to save a bunch of time :P) (And besides somethings you cant unlock like hyperforce pres. mode air guitar ect ect)As for Hyper Force; From what i have seen all it does is speed up the scrolling of the notes and spreads the notes further apart to compensate (for a while i was able to beat TFAF on medium w/ hyperforce 5 and couldnt beat it without it)(Atm currently pwning medium most of hard and trying to knock out a few expert songs as well)(and btw... all the morons who are insulting people who play on hard and expert need to get a clue... i know many people who play this game casually who can play pretty good on hard and expert mode... its not really that hard to get there just takes practice...)
Helpful tip: If your having trouble on one difficulty try going to the previous difficulty and setting it to hyperforce 5; the speed of a difficulty is about equal to that of the previous difficulty on HF5 (Example; Medium on HF5 = {Roughly} Hard)

Every other code that is posted on here works, however the one that is posted that says gr x3, gb x3, rb, r x3, rb, r x3, rb, r x3 does not work. I have also tried one that has gb x4 instead of x3 and it does not work either. I have also heard that he is not even on this game, however some have said he is. I just need a good code, that works, to unlock him if he is in this game please. Also, I understand that I cannot select him as a character- he only takes the place of the weird looking singer, but every time I put the code in and go into career to play, it is still the weird looking singer.
