Number of the Beast

"The Number of The Beast" is one of Iron Maiden's greatest hits.

Released in 1982 it is taken from the album of the same name. The song was a prominent target of critics during a time when Maiden were accused of being a Satanic group.

This is a playable track in Guitar Hero 3 as a master track. It is also featured on the video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4.

Raining Blood

"Raining Blood" is taken from the album Reign in Blood by Slayer which was released in 1986.

Raining Blood is featured on all Slayer live albums and DVDs. It is a playable song in the video game Guitar Hero 3. It was also included in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and the skateboarding game skate.

One

The heavy metal band Metallica won a Grammy Award(Best Metal Performance) for "One".

One of Metallica's most famous songs, "One", was taken from the 1988 album ...And Justice For All. Written by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, it is featured in Guitar Hero 3 and will be available as a downloadable song in the forthcoming video game Rock Band.

Cliffs Of Dover

Sung by Eric Johnson "Cliffs Of Dover" was released on the Ah Via Musicom album in 1990. It won a Grammy award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance in 1991.

The song "Cliffs of Dover" is an instrumental in G major, featuring electric guitar and is featured in Guitar Hero 3.

The Devil Went Down To Georgia

"The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is a country song written and performed by the Charlie Daniels Band. It was released on their 1979 album Million Mile Reflections.

The hard rock/metal version of the song by Steve Ouimette appears in Guitar Hero 3. It is the final track in the game, in which the player and final guitar boss Lou play in a face-off. The part of Johnny's solo is what mostly defines the victory over Lou. If the player manages to beat him before Johnny's solo is done, the battle ends and the player goes on to play the final verses while Lou just stands there, watching you play. The verse "I told you once, you son of a bitch, I'm the best that’s ever been" appears censored, with the word "bitch" drowned out. However, the line is sung uncensored on the "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Companion Pack" CD.

SunSeven! Help!

'Guitarhero' is on my daughters Christmas wish-list. I had just made up my mind that that's what it will be. Now you tell me there is another one 'Rockband'. I'm not into computer games. I don't see the point in them (but that's another story). Help, which one do I get her? Which one is better? Which one more fun? This is me pulling out my hair by the roots...Seriously I need advise...

regards Zsuzsy

Hi Zsuzsy, Rock Band is released only two days ago. So wait for a week or so. More reviews on the game will be coming by then. Guitar Hero is doing well. At the moment it is difficult to say which one is better. I think you have enough time till X'Mas.

Best Regards
