Guitar Lessons On The Internet-Is It Still Alive?

I remember my dad telling me how he learned guitar and he just shook his head when I told him about guitar lessons on the internet. In his opinion that was the end of guitar playing as we knew it. Of course so much has changed since he was my age. Back then it was about vinyl records and AM radio stations. Hell the electric guitar even seemed to have died for a number of years.

Of course just like hairdoos and bell bottom jeans there was no way the electric guitar was going to go away forever. It did take a few garage bands gone wild to bring it back. Many of these bands have now gone from their garages to stages around the world. The cool thing is that many of the new guitarists are learning by taking guitar lessons on the internet. Its time to take a new look at the electric guitar and see why it is so important.

The thing is the great guitar players can get any sounds they want out of their electric guitars. It wasn't like they just picked it up and started playing.
