As a selfish, analytical side note to some of my recent hub topics; I thought I would let you in on a new found thought process, I felt like sharing. Now, bear with me for a second or two while I try to explain how a self-proclaimed Canadian, Hannibal Lector named Victoria Van Dyke coincides with Guns, Sex & Jesus. She's an artist; and Guns, Sex and Jesus just so happens to be the title of her new erotic art collection. With that said, how about we get to the topic at hand?

Guns, sex and Jesus just so happens to be the twenty-first century's new buzzwords. I don't know how "new" they are. I mean, guns, sex and Christ have definitely been around for awhile. But it seems to me that the direct relationship between the three, is something entirely new and different. It seems that the world cannot get enough of these three words lately; there always in the news, spoken in a local coffee shop, or the main source of commentary in forums across the world wide Internet- and I wonder why? If someone sits there and begins to ponder long enough, a direct relationship between the three can be seen everywhere. It's as if they go hand-in-hand. However, when you group them all together something seems to be wrong. The odd perplexity has definitely left puzzled, and quite humored when thinking about the intertwined relationships between the three.

When it comes to the subject of guns, sex or Jesus, there are so many direct correlations between the grouping, it would have taken me three years to commit the coordinating links all together. Nevertheless, just think about it for a minute. Whether it is in God we trust, Bill Clinton sucking Monica's juices off his cigars, or Michael Moore sabotaging Charles Heston for an interview on the direct links between Columbine and the NRA; the underlying subject matter is all the same. Guns, sex and Jesus are guaranteed conversational hazards, and yet they plague societies everywhere. Moreover, whether one floats your boat over the next, or whether all three suits you best; please remember to be kind, courteous and respectful to the rest.
