You may know from the news and radio that most gunshot accidents or gun related injuries happen after curious kids discover loaded guns at home. Now in the United States, there is a great debate over gun control. And no one seems to agree on who should be allowed to own guns for sale and under what conditions.

• Remove yourself from the area

• Tell an adult

Teach kids not to touch a gun, leave the area and tell an adult when he comes across a gun. Let kids know that by leaving the area, you can keep yourself safe and alive before someone tries to touch the gun. Accidents can happen when a baby sister or brother may be strong enough to pull the trigger and cause accidents or even death.
