The H1N1 Swine Flu or the so called Mexican Swine Flu (Because it all reportedly started from Mexico) can be a Pandemic (an epidemic that is geographically widespread; occurring throughout a region or even throughout the world).

What is H1N1 or Swine Flu?

H1N1, also referred to as "swine flu" is a new influenza virus that can make you sick. At the beginning of 2009, there were outbreak of reports from Maxico stating that peopole are falling sick because of some flu virus. Later it was detected as the H1N1 or Swine Flu Influenza Virus. The H1N1 is a deadly Virus and spreads from human to human very easily.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is perticularly concerned about the outbreak of Swine Flu (Influenza Virus) and has issued a Global Pandemic Warning of Level 4 Out of 6.

Scientists are doing their research on the Swien Flu Virus and what the reports say is that Swine Flu is the result of an influenza virus that seems like a deadly combination of human strains and avian. This Swine Flu Influenza Virus is capable of spreading and multiplying itself and can easily get transmitted from swine to humans and from human to human.

Therefore the H1N1 Swine Flu Influenza Virus is a matter or concern and health as it can be a deadly global pandemic that can kill millions of people within a short time.

What are the signs and symptoms of Swine Flu and how do you know that the H1N1 Virus has entered your body?

The symptoms Swine Flu are quite similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu and regular human flu:

- cough, fever, sore throat, headache body aches, fatigue.

- Some people suffering from Swine Flu have complained of vomiting and diarrhea.

The Swine Flu antiviral drug will fight the influenza virus and prevent it from multiplying and spreading in the body and helps in the treatment of influenza illness.

What are the preventions and precautions I need to take to protect myself from getting sick?

There are a number of precautions that one can take to preevent himself or herself from this deadly influenza virus: N1H1

* Like any other human flu virus or seasonal flu virus , Swine Flu virus can also enter your body through respiration. Use Respiratory Mask/ Flu Mask when going out in a public place. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and throw the used tissue in the trash. Wash your hands often with soap and water after you cough or sneeze. Use hand-sterilizer.

* Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth when your hand is not washed and clean. This gives the virus and germs a chance to spread.

* If you know someone is suffering from Swine Flu, try to avoid close contact with him or her.

* If you feel you have the symptons of Swine Flu ( mentioned above) go for a diagnosis to confirm. If you test positive for H1N1 Virus, avoid going outdoors to prevent infecting others with this virus. Take proper treatment until you are completely treated and cured.
