HBO launches official YouTube channel with some Full shows

Home Box Office Inc., (HBO) the premium movie channel provider joins forces with Google Inc’s YouTube and will offer some full length shows of popular series and promotional content for others.

HBO made this announcement today that have negotiated with Google for an undisclosed sum to release full length videos of some of their popular series such as “In Treatment” and will feature video highlights from shows like “Entourage”, “The Wire”, and “The Flight of the Conchords”.

You can access this channel here and subscribe to it and get the latest videos. They have full length videos (first 4 episodes of In Treatment shown here) of the new hit show “In Treatment” starring Gabriel Burns (Usual Suspects), Blair Underwood, Embeth Davis and others. More episodes and other shows will be added later.

Nice start by HBO, I hope they will add more shows. Google can probably start its own paid web channels online with partnerships like this.
