Easy Cake Mix Dessert

Not long ago, I attended an after church dinner.  This is so much fun.  You get to eat and sample delicious Southern cooking!  (Bad for the heart but sure does taste wonderful:)  I was proud of myself.  I did not overeat period.  That is, until I approached the dessert table.  Several ladies were talking about the delicious blueberry dessert.  I like blueberries okay, but they are not my favorite fruit.  After some persuasion, I gave it up and decided to try it.  I got a small slice of cake and maybe 1 tablespoon of the blueberry dessert.  I am sorry I ever tasted it.  I had myself two NICE servings.  Oh my, did this tickle my taste buds.  I talked to the lady who made it and she was more than willing to share her recipe with me.  This is the most wonderful and simple to make dessert I have ever tried.  I later made it for my husband and it has been his favorite dessert.  Now, at least twice per month, he has to have Heavenly Blueberry Crumble!  This is really a wonderful dessert.  Try it - you will love it!

1 21-ounce can blueberry pie filling

1 tsp. lemon juice

1 package Betty Crocker (or choice) white cake mix

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread pie filling into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan or dish. Sprinkle the lemon juice evenly over pie filling. In a bowl, stir together the cake mix, nuts, and melted butter until the mixture ix crumbly. Sprinkle this over the pie filling. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until top is light brown. TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!!
