- If your answer is yes then read on .....
1. Greet your employees with a smile and
remember their names.
2.Occasionally ask how they are doing
and include their family in that question.
3.Praise and reward their loyalty to you.
4.Let them know they are an asset
to your company.
5.Give them a yearly raise atleast
one a year.
6.Send a special note,email or flowers
when an event good or bad happens
in their lives. "birth ,death etc..."
7.Never discuss or criticize another
employee to others employed by you.
"think before you spout"
This can cause an employee to feel
worthless and rumors can grow.
8.If an employee is injured on the job
be compassionate and considerate .
Do not always assume they are out to
get something.
9.If you are a drug free work place make
sure your employees really are.
10.Make sure you are fair and impartial
to all not just to a special person or group.
11.Listen with an open mind to employees
that go that extra mile and constantly have your back.
They just might be right about something
they bring to your attention.
Even if it is about someone that is in
charge and runs certain aspects of your
business don't brush off or ignore
them. Sometimes they are just looking
out for You.
12.Respect your female employees.
Do not belittle them and make
unnecessary comments about them.
13. Keep your In The Field Supervisors out in the field
not in the office bothering your personel
14.Don't hire someone with less
experience for more money than your
seasoned employees unless you are
willing to give those people more money.

14.When you have known that your
employees are doing drugs and
one comes back with a trace positive
test for marijuana or some other substance.
Do not single them out from the
rest and fire them without
talking to them first.
If they have been a long time valued
and loyal employee how can your fire
them when other ones are known to
do it.
Maybe this person really did quit
within the last thirty days and was clean
and clear prior to their accident.
How can you let one person who is known
to cover up for the others reported usage
and still have their jobs and dignity.
Is it really fair to let one Supervisor go and
keep another. "He does what the others do".
Why brand him "the injured employee" while
the others are free to do exactly what he
was fired for.
If drug use is suspected then it is only
fair to Drug Test the others.
Try some of my suggestions and see if
they make your business grow.
Employees that are happy and
productive "not high & just floating"
make your business prosper.
Everybody wants the best and go
to the best.Would you want
someone high working for you?
One more thing to close...
If you have a person that protects you
and watches tour back.Appreciate her they are
hard to find.

Thank You.It is actually meant for a few employers that preach DRUG FREE WORK PLACE ONLY WHEN IT BENIFITS THEM.
Employees are not perfect and either are employers but right is right and wrong is wrong.
If it is wrong for one then it shouild be wrong for all!
