Hair Straighteners Flat Irons that Work

Till this day the best flat iron or hair straightener I have ever used is the Colorful Season double ceramic flat iron, the HerStyler.   I think most girls run out and get a Chi Flat Iron but I don't recommend them because they are expensive and they brake after about a year.

The HerStyler comes with a 3 year warranty depending on where you buy it.  I bought mine at the mall about 1 year ago for $200.00 with a three year warranty.  They said I could bash it over my boyfriends head and break it and they would still replace it.  Needless to say I haven't hit anyone over the head with it and it is still working awesome. 

Anyways,  this flat iron has the double ceramic plates.  I am never really sure how they work; something about heat transfer so it doesn't burn your hair.  Literally you could put a cotton ball on it and it wont burn though I don't recommend using a receipt paper to prove to your friends that it doesn't burn.  Even though it really doesn't, it still turned the paper a funny color because of the chemicals so I was a little embarrassed but that really isn't the point. 

Recently I learned some new tips using the best hair straightener on the market.  Yes, it took me a year to figure out how to get those loose curls that the celebrities have that make their hair look all full and beautiful and sexy. 

Tip, using slightly bigger strands of hair, twist on the way down and do it quick.  I know the first thing you probably want to do is let it sit... don't do it.  You have to do it fast (well not so fast it doesn't have time to do anything...) and flip it out at the end.  Don't concentrate on any one part for too long or you will get a line or a lump. 

As you probably know, figuring you are here because you have curly hair, that finding a good hair polisher is really important. I personally don't like to use a lot of product in my hair since it is natrually a little more dry.

I totally recommend the Fantasia Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum. It cost anywhere from $6-13 per 6oz. bottle but it is hands down the best straitening polish there is. I have used everything under the sun when it comes to hair products that reduce frizz but nothing comes close to Fantasia.

I use it every three or four days when I wash and straiten my hair out. You don't have to use a lot of it, it smells good and it doesn't leave a clump of goo on the straightener when your done or pull out your hair like some other serums do.

Buy the way, did I mention the Herstyer Flat Iron, hair straightener cost about $50.00 when you buy online. Oh they also come in different colors like green (I have green! :) pink, blue, yellow, orange, pattern or print designs and they come in a thermo storage case so you can put it away even if it is hot.

Check it out. I know it sounds cleche' but if you buy any other straightener you are wasting your money and probably doing a lot of damage to your hair.
