Perhaps one of the most drastic accessories you can use to give your costume that extra edge is with some Halloween Contact lenses. Below are some that I have either used myself or seen in person. I loved them all! Whether spooky or enchanting, these lenses made the costume.

Jagged Teeth

One of oddest and strangest looking contact lenses you will find. The Jagged Teeth turns your eye into a frighteningly sharp mouth. Beware, friends will not be able to look you in the eye for too long if you are wearing this spooky lens.

This is a soft lens with a large diameter that covers the entire white of the eye. The exact center of the lens has a clear opening for your pupil, so you can see through this lens.

There Is A Huge Selection Of Halloween Contact Lenses Waiting For You Here!

Sith

The Sith contact lenses, inspired by the star wars films is a scleral lens of high red and white contrast with a fade to yellow ring around the pupil. The center is clear (which appears black) so you can see through the lens.

A frightening lens on most any eye.

Frosty (Caution - Not For General Use)

This is a lens designed specifically for theatrical use as vision will be obstructed! the lens is a regular sized contact lens with a white frosting color to it. Used mainly in movies to give the appearance of a blind eye. Very spooky when seen in person, but do not attempt to wear this lens out in public, you will not be able to see!

Temptress

Enough of the spooky, how about a sexy costume? With these hot pink contact lenses, people will not be able to help but to look you in the eye. A long time favorite of party goers and fun costume wearers.

Black Sclera

The name black sclera means it covers your entire eye with an opaque black lens. The center is actually a clear opening so you can see while wearing these lenses. This style of halloween contact lenses have been around for a while, but have made a resurgence in popularity ever since they were used in the hit NBC television show Heroes.

Purple Kitty

It goes without saying that the ever popular cat eye contact lens will always have a place in the theatrical contact lens market, this little twist on the popular design adds a little bit of fun and sass to any cat eye.

The lens stays lined up due to a design known as prism ballast lenses. All you need to know is that on most eyes, these cat eye lenses will look great and stay upright. All you have to do is prrrrrrr.....

Psycho

The first time I wore this lens, people didn’t notice right away. Which made it a great costume accessory. When someone is already involved in conversation then notice your eyes, let’s just say the looks on peoples faces are something that will never be forgotten.

Everything from people jumping and running, to looking hypnotized. This psycho lens is an all time favorite.

Blue Snowflake

An amazingly subtle yet startling contact lens for halloween. Not designed for the scary costume, rather the fun and enchanting. With a flash for cool, this snowflake is a great way to bring in the new season with a cool look. A regular sized contact lens with a classic look.

Fire

Stand up and get noticed. This fire contact lens can be used with a variety of costume ideas and is guaranteed to get noticed. People will see this one from across the party, and believe me, they will be talking about it.

Blood Red

This is a normal sized contact lens with a translucent red finish. The effect? it looks like your eye is bleeding. This is one of those lenses that will get noticed as soon as someone is within a few feet of you, be careful, it may just send them screaming!

While All These Lenses Are Designed For Fun....

Remember that we are talking about medical devices that are placed directly on your eyes. Misuse of contact lenses lenses can lead to sight threatening infections and complications. Talk to your eye doctor before ever trying contact lenses and follow all care instructions.

I really like the jagged teeth lenses and the purple cats Eyes are so cool too. Though I would say I wouldn't mind a pair of the Black Sclera lenses to freak my boys out with.

Very interesting. I use to wonder how they got those different effects on the movies. I thought it was computer generated. I bet these will be a big seller during Halloween. I bet the Sith ones will scare alot of people. Neat idea!!!

I am used to women changing their hair color, in fact I don't know what the real color of my wife's or step-daughter's hair is and a few years ago I got used to my sister-in-law, thanks to contacts, having blue eyes one day and brown the next. But Halloween costumes for one's eyes is something that I would have never thought of.

Great Hub and great pictures.
